He felt out of sync with this forum. He said no one wanted to have serious discussions with paragraph-long posts. He said he felt disrespected and made fun of; he didn't like being trolled or ridiculed. He has also been struggling with lack of job prospects.

Yes I can think of a couple users that got let back on the forum after requesting a hardban. I can't lie I'm expecting him to return at some point considering he's been has been talking about quitting for ages and hasn't been able to follow through with it. He's definitely still lurking a bit while logged out.
So basically what's happened to me in most other communities I've been in?

Of course he will. He will write a novel how shitty this website is and how he will take a break, just to return within a few days
