No. Izzat means honor. What I'm describing is the opposite: corruption and dishonor, and the conditions of poverty, weakness and oppression which give rise to such dishonorable criminal work like scamming and what not due to extreme prioritization of survival where everyone is for themselves alone.
Well from what I read, Indians have a version of honor that isn't too defined by conventional western morality. If you scam others, that means you are smart, and it's win by any means.
That exists to an extent, but from what I've seen, honor as defined by conventional western morality also exists side by side. The tragedy is that conventional morality of honor, high trust, and mutual respect exists much more in theory than in practice, but it is taught in educational curriculum, though rarely replicated faithfully in practice.

Where I live Izzat is understood differently. It means honor, prestige and reputation, so if you're a criminal, chance of achieving high prestige is low. You're better off trying to be a high earning wageslave like an engineer or doctor, or businessman. As a businessman, you can exploit your workers and that wouldn't affect your prestige as much as being a criminal. Nevertheless there is a kind of respect that criminals, goons of politicians enjoy here, but that is born more out of fear than genuine respect.

Most people lack empathy and cannot comprehend the depth of our suffering.
Most non-curry people cannot empathize with us because they aren't anywhere as low as us. They can't even imagine being anything close to what we are.

We are the bottom of the barrel for everything. Looks, intelligence, physique, etc. We get humiliated in every facet of our lives. Look at all of the curries that have been knocked out in MMA and UFC. Not a single curry has won a UFC fight. Life is a cruel joke.
This kind of dysgenics is why living day to day is so hard for me. The hopelessness, helplessness, and ritual humiliation is just all too much for me.
