It's not a disaster because it's not going mainstream. The only thing that is happening is that people are ditching the previous neoliberal obsession with niceness and superficial pleasantries for what was the norm back in the day, i.e. acknowledging that looks are important.
You can say this occurred in part due to the blackpill, but that's just one aspect of it and the most easily digestible and something that everyone knew at one point. There's people alive now, mostly boomers, that knew society before it was sanitized.
