I think all of us can agree that hypergamy has always been mainstream since forever ago. Although the word itself, “hypergamy” hasn’t been thrown around much between normies. Now that the blackpill is more popular among TikTok, the word hypergamy has become more and more mainstream every day.

Where I’m going with this is that foids finding out about this word is making hypergamy worse, but why is that? Foids capitalize on what benefits them, now being introduced to another term, and the idea of it has them motivated to pursue this even more. When people see repeated content encouraging them to have higher standards or never settle, foids adapt to that.

TikTok algorithm also plays a role in this because it makes people who are either rich, tall, or above average looking go viral more than regular people do, they also makes unpopular opinions go viral. As a result, people see the top 10% of the world on TikTok and get people to have an insane standard, specifically foids.
