Because asian food is often animal based and raw. Raw food looks more apetizing in it's natural state. Just look at red meat, when you cook meat, it looks grey and off putting. Slavic food is also often grain based and that's disgusting for most people. The color green is also off putting for all people really, it's just that we've been brainwashed to eat green foods.
