Intelligence means thinking too much and women like spontaneous men that do exciting (low IQ) stuff. Intelligence is often associated with boring hobbies, boring job, boring lifestyle etc. They want someone exciting therefore average or low IQ is desirable. If you are high IQ and can overcome the "boring" aspect of it then that will be fine.
