I noticed how prominent this is when watching these tiktoks. But I've always noticed that women generally seem to have strong opinions about who their friends date.

Women generally seem more apt to make negative comments about who their friends date and even judge their friends quite a bit more based off this.
I'm going to be BRUTALLY honest here but I didn't like any of the girls my friends dated and I think the rest of our group felt the same way but we would only make negative comments about her once they broke up. But none of us would dare say something negative when they were dating. Even saying something along the lines of "uhhh so why do you like her? she's kinda ugly" would have ended up in a fight and I'm sure that's the case with most men. But with women it's completely acceptable to say "umm he's kindaaa uglyyy idk why you're dating him like what do you see in him" and the majority of the time females will not consider this insulting.
Does anyone know how this behavior can be explained? It obviously relates to how women value relationships differently but I can't quite put my finger on it.
