ngl I don't blame them for not wanting to get officially diagnosed (though I do think its a mild form of autism if you don't get diagnosed as a child). The label sticks to you for life. My mom even tried to get some doctors to scrub my medical records a bit (being diagnosed with PDD-NOS and another childhood diagnosis I had is cringe) but it still comes up, which can bite you in the ass sometimes. Once you are seen as an autist you are never taken seriously again. If you want to NEET-maxx this can be good but if you can't/don't want you it sucks to be labelled.

My group mates, though, were unaware of this because I rarely said anything about myself to them. I stuttered too much and often had to close my eyes for relief. An autistic boy named "George" doted on Shannon's presence and loved her.
