Why are so many threads missing from the archives?

I tried to search for some of my old threads, but the archives don't go very far.

I'm having the same issue. When I last checked a few days ago I couldn't see any of my threads or posts after a certain point.

I remember everything got wiped a while ago. The servers got taken down somehow, and all of my posts disappeared. Perhaps it happened again, I don't really keep track.

My thread on Meta & Feedback asking about this was denied. I don't understand why, this is a legitimate site issue. Compare that to the threads that DO get authorized? Not that they're bad threads, they're good threads. But if those are good threads, so should a thread asking about what's either a bug or feature to come.
