Why are so many great philosophers and inventors incels?

Nietzsche and Tesla come to mind. Both were brilliant men who were infamously bad with women. I get that in today's clown world they would be incels but they lived in a far more conservative and patriarchal time. What is it about intellectual greatness that repels women?
