why are so many Catholics lukewarm in their beliefs?

Trying to get into RCIA currently, and have been attending for about a year now. so many (young and old) people are not even paying attention. what's even the point of going if you don't really even care? These people are the reason why no one takes the church seriously. no chance to find a virgin catholic foid,not even an actual "born again" catholic foid that wants to take her life seriously. its so over for religiouscels

Because the people who hate catholicism will call them "weird" and "not actual catholics" for wanting to take their faith more seriously than 99% of churchgoers.

Because the Church has to much power and puts to many mediators in front of Jesus .Prayers to Mary and praying and venerating saints under that.The Catholic Church systematically denies their parishioners access to the Savior Jesus the Lord ands coming King.
There is nothing arrogant about using all the resources Jesus gave us ,matter of fact by not exploiting in full what Christ has to offer us from his death and suffering ,we are then saying he died for nothing.
