Seriously, the wind is moving because the branches are blowing for these motherfuckers.
Perfect example: how they continue to obnoxiously blame men’s mental health problems on excessive screen time or, I don’t know, fucking videogames.
If some vidya addict is suffering from depression, then that obsession with videogames isn’t a fucking cause but rather an amplifying effect and a desperate cry for help with a much bigger problem. These patterns of unhealthy lifestyles don’t just stem from one or two bad habits but more from a severe struggle that one might feel trapped within.
The same applies to our loneliness. It is constantly blamed on our apparently lack of emotional maturity, personality, and how men need to “talk” about their feelings and problems more (meanwhile, if push comes to shove and God forbid we fall for this, the same group who encourage us will then berate or maybe even humiliate us), and it’s just so sad purely because you can easily tell how it’s all done as an attempt to further obfuscate the ACTUAL cause, i.e., complete lack of support from a matriarchal society in which women’s issues are held in a higher regard, outrageously unrealistic and just borderline unachievable beauty standards placed on men thanks to pornography, TikTok zoomer culture, etc., men being born with lower value as opposed to women having inherent value due to their reproductive systems and therefore men tend to feel more isolated and hopeless as a result of men being misrepresented, and I mean, the list can just go on and on.
But no, who cares about weeding out the cause and creating a better world for everyone when you can just blame it on the effects, right?
In all sincerity, has it ever even occurred to these people that maybe, if a self-proclaimed incel is, I don’t know, let’s say, misogynistic or one with a bad “personality,” then those traits aren’t exactly what’s depriving him of being loved, but instead, an effect of constantly being treated unfairly by the opposite gender on account of being physically unattractive? Obviously, that doesn’t necessarily make it okay for him to continue being a shitty person, but still, can these people AT LEAST try to see this?
