Why are most of the posters of "Must Read" content banned?

Feels weird to go through some of the best content on here and see that almost everyone that participated in making that content is by now banned from the site.

I guess for some/many those are self-bans, but even just in recent times you can find examples of people that made good shit and were kicked out e.g. @GeckoBus.

Feels like there should be some kind of additional clause as part of the rules to make this less common of an occurance. Like, for every threat that makes it into the "Must Read" section you get one Get Out Of Jail Free-Card.

Who cares what type of shit they posted, people investing lots of time and effort into their presence here who also have something interesting to say are rare & valuable and their treatment should reflect that.

I'm honestly uncertain, I suspect many will, but at the same time, autism seems to be both extremly common on here and one of the strongest predictors for remaining alone till the end, so who knows. Hope you are right though, it would make this world feel a bit less bleak if this was just a phase for most of us.

what about them getting banned by mods? in that case I would feel strongly that the rules have to be way too strict.

I have no idea, maybe it's just that the longer you are on this forum, the probability of you breaking a rule increases and thats what happened to them

tbh the turnover rate for this forum is kinda high. You stay here long enough and you will literally see the entire userbase morph into something different. Users here come and go for all sorts of reasons, sometimes they come back after a while, sometimes they leave forever

Theres a reason why most 2017cels are not here with us. Some of them have actually ascended and posted about it, some of them were disillusioned at the state of the forum after they came back, some of them simply got tired of rotting here and went their separate ways. Nothing lasts forever

Guess that does make sense. With how few good news there are on here its probably better for your mental to find something else to occupy your mind with. I don't think I will hold out long, constantly being faced all this misery and unfairness is making me want to myself already

Someone who was here since the beginning should write a more or less objetive history of the forum. Reading through some of the older threads it is insane how differend the ideas were back then. Feels like walking through the ruins of a once flourishing city.
