I think they were hoping it would be a watershed moment and could inspire some kind of government action where these violent leftists who openly advocate for committing violence against anyone who advocates for slightly conversative talking points and are also just a constant annoyance to everyday people with their general stupidity, will finally be persecuted for once like they pretend to be.

I never liked Charlie Kirk but its crazy out of everyone they could have targeted they picked him, if I was leftist and I wanted to kill a right wing figure I would pick someone else, the guy was pretty tame and milquetoast by todays standards.
I would even call him a leftist personally, the guy advocated against racism and supported homosexuality and other liberal values about letting people do whatever they want because of "muh freedom" It just shows how mentally ill a very vocal but still sizeable minority of people are that they think this dude isnt left wing enough and they need to assassinate him when in any other period of time he would be considered a far leftist.

I'm not conservative in the modern sense because modern conservatives are just liberals slightly disagreeing with other liberals (the reason why they are called cuckservatives) but I'm conservative on most social issues, yes.

I've been watching Charlie for years, listening to his college debates, turning point, his podcast, etc. From this is became relatively obsessed with him due to the amount of information and knowledge I've gained from him. I would take notes on his debates then combine points and upload them to my X handle.
When I first heard of his passing I was distressed, yet still had to commute. At campus everyone was disrespecting him, saying he deserved it, etc, I just felt sick from all of it. I called a few of the libs out and they responded by mass reporting my handle and doxxing me online. This wasn't the first occurrence either. I've rebuilt my current account back up with thousand of followers again, getting death threats with my ZIP every month or so - most likely by those same people at my campus.
I just find it ridiculous how I can't even defend an innocent man without getting abused.
I want to take legal action yet the woke judges are paid off an won't do me in favour.
