A lot of my female teachers were overweight or obese. I see obese mothers walk down my street everyday. What gives?

Hamburgers and hot dogs aren't healthy, but they won't make you fat. The french fries they come with will, though.

Middle Americans consume large amounts of soda, sugary snacks, carb dense side dishes and snacks and alcohol beverages. Combine this with a sedentary lifestyle and there you go.

Poorer parts and families in the US generally consume the highest amount of fast food and unhealthy food from the grocery stores. I know as i grew up an a poor american family. It's the middle class and up that Generally eat more healthier and exercise more.

Even a triple cheeseburger from a fast food place only has about 1200 calories at the high end. Back when I started getting in shape, I lost weight eating tons of burgers, but no fries and soda.
