often this aspect of grabbing attention and selling the product with pretty girls is so important, that the story stops making sense
like when there's a very beautiful girl but she's ignored by the protagonist completely, and no one seems to notice either her beauty or her sex appeal at all, sometimes she doesn't even have much popularity or friends, which is really strange
the story would make a lot more sense if the girl was kind of fat and unattractive, but then the works wouldn't get as much attention anymore and probably wouldn't sell that great either
