What's the best Dragon Quest?
difficult question, because you said best. I like 9 and 5 the most, but they're all almost different games. The variety is insane. Literally two games one entry apart, 4 and 5, operate completely differently. One has a class system and less playable characters then the other, but most of the playable characters in that one are actually pokemon esque unlocked momsters. I think the best is 9 probably too, but I am insanely biased.
Interesting. I just started 5 the other day and recognised your avi. I'm not sure I'm in the mood for an RPG rn though, and was thinking I'll probably go back to it later. I was also thinking about 9 down the road cos I'm using a DS emulator.
I have a good resource for that. Melonds is also probably the best. The cool thing about rpgs is you don't need to worry about the usual keybinding issue with an emulator.
