The thing about progressive propaganda like that, is they're terrified that if they accurately represent what they're discouraging, men will be drawn to it. That's why they make these ridiculous strawmans. They'll lump Andrew Tate, incels, mgtow, 4chan and the alt right into one homogenous boogieman because when all of these diverse ideologies and trains of thought are merged into one they sound ridiculous and hypocritical.
Of course, that makes it less effective propaganda to anyone actually engaged in those communities as it's an utterly ridiculous misrepresentation.
In regards to men who haven't been exposed, they're more likely to be sympathetic towards these ideologies and groups once they see how misrepresented they've been.
This sort of propaganda really only appeals to progressives who already believe incels are radicalized cultists.
