Could it go either way? If the carrion monster grabbed the foreign creature with its tentacles could it consume the foreign creature fast enough before a small piece of it could break off and find a new host? Seems like that’s what would happen. But it depends on the situation, if the foreign creature was close enough to the carrion monster it would be completely devoured.
I feel like they are both capable of easily killing each other and both have insanely high intelligence, but the foreign creature has more of an edge due to having telekinesis and the ability to easily inhabit any host.
The carrion monster can do this as well technically with its parasitism skill, but the foreign creature’s version of this is more effective. The foreign creature is also far more durable than the carrion monster.
