They think they're in control of their being a virgin at 30 and that all the dating app failures are just them not trying hard enough and they could change it if they wanted to but just don't want it hard enough. They think the reason why they don't go out often is due to them not being that type of person vs people not wanting them around and seeking refuge online and with TV shows.
