Discussion Who else can't stand eating near others?

So I have these family gathering things that I go to and we have dinner there.

I never eat dinner with my family and just sit in the living room because I can't fucking stand eating near others.

The sound of the forks hitting the plates, the sound of niggas chewing, being surrounded by people.

It's all to damn much.

I don't get how people can eat with so many people.

It's bearable if theres enough noise and talking going on to drown out the unpleasent sounds such as in a restaurant, but just at home and having my parents nag me about my life? Hard pass
