What is Trigun even about? Is it an action-based drama pertaining to some revolutionary technology that would shake the foundations of some futuristic dystopia?

I'll check it out.
It's about a dude who is a living superweapon getting brainwashed by a hippy mother figure to be an ultra pacifist that doesn't hurt anyone, but he accidentally nuked a city (his brother forced him) so now he has a billion dollar bounty on his head and everyone wants to kill him but he doesn't hurt anyone since he is pacifist and thats the premise.
Eventually he develops through the show and you can easily conclude his mother's figure ideals are impossible to implement obviously.
But there is always a charm to idealists, especially true Idealists who are willing to die for their beliefs even if it's utterly pointless.

Issue #1, is that “Trigun” looks too much like “Rurouni Kenshin.”
Issue #2, is that most “Trigun” fans are in love with the character of Vash the Stampede, fans are not on love with the story.

Seriously, “Trigun,” is so boring - I don’t even read the scans for free.
I just dislike the Western aesthetic in general, but I did like Trigun's short run, even if I preferred my favorite parts of Bleach over Trigun. Has anyone who read the manga know if Trigun's adaptation was accurate?

how tf can you compare bleach to trigun. Both are different one is a shounen that relies on long plots and fillers and other is a small contained story with a conclusion. I would go with trigun. But more apt comparison for trigun would be cowboy bebop and for bleach it would be naruto. I like bleach but only till soul society arc after that it became typical shounen

Trigun feels bad at first but gets really deep later. I remember I wanted to give up too but I'm glad I didn't at the time.
