Which video game remake is the best?

I know this is a controverisial question since most of us hate remakes here. But still some remakes are definitely not as bad as many think. If i had to make my pick i would say it would be resident evil 4. I wanted to go with resident evil 1 and resident evil 2 but i never played og versions of them. But re4 is a game that i play more than any live service game i would say none of the remakes close to resident evil 4 when it comes to capturing vibes of original

I swear, I amm sick of seeing like every second game being made with that engine.

Once you see gameplay you can immediately tell that ut uses the unreal engine.

It almost feels like one of those asset flips on Steam.

Even the Spyro reignited trilogy disapppointed me a bit and the N.Sane trilogy looked strsight up bad.

I dont think so. It is the only Kingdom Hearts game for the GBA. Any game that prizes itself with Ambition and Aryan VRILL is Worth my Attention!

Final Fantasy Legend II for the original Gameboy



was remade as SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu for the Nintendo DS



The same goes for Final Fantasy Legend III for the original Gameboy



which was remade as SaGa 3: Jikuu No Hasha for the Nintendo DS



These remakes kept the story and everything else the same from the original Gameboy games, except did some minor class balance tweaks and added some extra stuff. The games benefit greatly from color and 3D graphics. The downside is that the Nintendo DS remakes never got translated for release outside of Japan. Fortunately, there are fanmade translation patches for both DS games that you can apply to a copy of the ROMs to play in a Nintendo DS emulator.

The confusing thing is that the games have nothing to do with the Final Fantasy franchise, as they are part of the SaGa series. The American Gameboy releases have Final Fantasy Legend in the title to try and capitalize on the success of the Final Fantasy series outside of Japan.
