They're among the biggest consequences of the industrial revolution, not as many natural deaths from either hunger or disease meant that now the biggest portion of the population didn't have to grow food and that kids didn't die as much, which caused people to flock to cities creating the "modern" urban life, which then devolved into modern ideologies(tankies,feminism, etc) , whore culture, etc that made the perfect petri dish that allowed inceldom to exist on its modern form.
