"The Curse of the Black Pearl" was on television yesterday and I had a good time watching it. Captain Jack Sparrow made that franchise. Then, I flipped the channel to a "TransformERs" movie that had Mark Wahlberg in it.

I wish I had a gf to watch all three “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies together, especially on a Saturday like today… sadly, my possible-gf was aborted.

Take me back to 2003, life was great. America was just starting the oil invasion of Iraq, the NHL had the deepest draft ever, baby boomers had money and were spoiling millennials like myself, the dollar was strong, Americans were buying gas-guzzling Ford Explorers and Hummers - it was a great time to be a boy in the United States. I was a youngcel - but, I was so much happier.

I relate to “Pirates of the Caribbean” the most.

• I grew up in a city located on the coast.
• My dad was in the United States Navy.
• I like how the villains in “TCOTBP” are stuck in purgatory, like incels.
• Captain Jack Sparrow is funny as fuck.
• The British accents from the cast of all three movies makes the franchise feel very authentic. I like authenticity.
• The humor and action is very balanced throughout all of the installments, something I enjoy.
• Solid story that is very easy to follow, some parts may be dull at times, but the story is never confusing.
• I liked the way Captain Jack Sparrow spoke to foids.
