immo hammer honestly, idk why tho. I think hammer is fastest takedown if you land a good hit. A knife will almost never lead to instant take down even if you stab neck or chest. Hammer to head its over + depending on hammer length you can have huge reach compared to knife. Also you can combine hammer + knife into knife hammer thing and then its gg

Long or even normal knife is much better in current times since nobody really wears any armor, it's also much easier to conceal, while hammer would be a much better weapon in medieval times due of people wearing at bare minimum light or medium armor that would protect you from cuts while even plate armor won't do shit about concussions and spike hits to the head
