Why does nobody give a flying fuck about anybody else in society, unless they need something or want to fuck them? What happened to basic caring for fellow members of your community?

What do you guys think caused this deep seated hate of others and desire to preserve an nourish only the very nuclear family and avoid all others?

Has it always been a thing? By the way im NOT TALKING ABOUT RESORTING TO COMMUNISM, im just trying to figure out why everyone fucking hates everyone else, and I wonder if that can be changed some way.

I think one of the most enormous contributors to this hatred of society is egregious taxation, and when the cost of living is high, people are only going to be focused on surviving and not giving a fuck about anyone else.

I think 10x decrease in taxes would cause domino effect that could sort out virtually every problem in society, because if people have more money to spend and enough to cover their basic needs and cover for the family, they are very willing to help out in other areas of the community. Altruism is a deep seated component of the human condition, and it feels good to help others. Most people would absolutely help others if they werent so fucking pinned down to survive under 50% taxation or more.

When capitalists say single digit taxation will provide strong incentive for private charity to sustain poor people, they're not joking. You'd be surprised how agreeable and happy people are to help you when they arent worried about running out of money.

Thoughts guys?

The generation that raised the baby boomers didn't raise them correctly, as they were mostly just happy that they survived the war and could have children. Because of this, baby boomers were treated like they were amazing in every way, and this narcissistic trait was passed down all the way to millennials, and soon gen X.
That's my personal theory, if it's low IQ let me know please

Do you agree re: taxation?

Its obviously a huge combination of factors, but taxation imo is one of the most powerful contributors.

I think it could be a factor, but I certainly don't think it's the main one. I don't think a 10x decrease in taxes, although I would love that, would revert our society to one of upstanding morals.

Oh morality is a different issue, im talking about generally being more social and caring for one another in society.

Low financial security for the middle class i firmly believe is the precursor to such an aggressively antisocial populace.

While morality would not change with 5% tax, peope would be much more comfortable in life and so more willing to be altruistic and friendly to the fellow man. I think this is at least a good step in the right direction.

1. There's no empathy or sympathy in the world. People assume you're virtue signalling to score "morality points" or you're a "Faggot" for showing caring, consideration & kindness.
2. There's a lot more selfishness in the world due to peoples desire to want short term pleasure for their serotonin, dopamine & other hormone rush.
3. There's a real fear that should someone exhibit the feelings in point 1 then they'd be exploited by Sociopaths & Psychopaths (those who LARP sincere sympathy & kindness). Cynicism & scepticism as well as the "60s revolution" has exasperated this beyond all measure.
4. There were ne'er do wells in years gone by but they weren't to be "understood" as it were. They were just plain wrong & they were labelled as such & shunned.
5. FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) of the Instagram & Facebook or Twitter lifestyles have made people alot more bitter & angry thus hostile & impatient with one another. That combined with Jealousy & envy.
6. There's a lot more hatred since people are utterly disgusted with these "stahknovite success stories" such as these fraudulent "rags to riches" stories by Celebrities & Z List Celebrities so people simply don't trust anyone anymore & that comes out as hostilities.

Some thoughts. Feel free to add yours.

Very good points. Life especially for young people is a rat race for attention, popularity and instant gratification sexually, emotionally and commercially.

This begs the question though, was it always like this? Can we ever go back to the good old days without this seething hatred, envy, jealousy and impatience?

From a European pov, I think it merely roots back from the 19th century industrial revolution, where cynical petty bourgeois destroyed the established order of Clergy and Nobility in order to maximize their personnal profit against the common good. The first cases of homelessness date back from this dark period. The peasantry from the previous centuries had better living conditions than the workers of the Industrial Revolution.

Before that, since the Nobility owned most of the land, public service and private property had shady delimitations, which in a sense can eventually be a good thing (you take care of your property (roads, forests, security, etc.), which end up to profit the rural people living here). In the meantime, the Clergy took care of the "souls" (General Copes™ :lul: ), and also popular education (which is frankly debatable to know if it was good or not tbh, but they did it nonetheless, contrary to the fuccking bourgeoisie who used children as cheap workers).

Amazon paid ZERO in federal income taxes and the richest man in the world now pays his employees so little, that increasingly many of them qualify for food stamps in the US - which is then paid for by those who do pay taxes. What has Bezos, now the richest man of the world and not a Jew done with all this money? He has CRUSHED what was left of the unions up to a point where his drivers piss in bottles and those who work in his warehouse might wear diapers - and bought the Washington Post to turn it into his private blog.

Capitalism RESULTS in this situation where a few have a MONOPOLY on all the means of production and the rest have to compete with each other in an increasingly tight job market. And when they have to compete with more and more desperate people, they have to accept lower and lower wages until they are all overworked but underpaid what is increasingly common these days.

Also private charity means being dependent on foreign mercy. This is the opposite of dignity and independence. This is why all the capitalist pigs, all the George Soros, Jeff Bezos types are perfectly happy with "charity" - as long as you don't touch this system where they own all the means of production and the only "market" left is that between those who do not own any capital and only have their labor to sell. As long as these proletarians (btw: capitalist and "supporter of a capitalist system" are two very different things. Jeff Bezos is a capitalist, stupid little libertarian 4chan boys are only supporters of capitalism but they do not own anything meaningful that qualifies them as capitalists) are desperate and dependent, they are happy to throw some breadcrumbs to them.

A system, in which people are overworked but underpaid, in which they have to compete more and more brutally for shittier and shittier jobs, you will get more and more people who are selfish and sick. Capitalism breeds this sickness - and then gives you, as "opium of the people", religion that tells you that materialism is evil anyway. Or it gives you the Jordan Peterson types as an in-build opposition, telling you that 1% owning everything and the rest fucking dying is perfectly OK because THE LOBSTERS ALSO HAVE HIERARCHIES! So if you go against the 1% you are not only wrong you are morally EVIL and working against >muh (human) nature. Or it gives you antisemitism as the anticapitalism of the fools. This is why so many libertarians have turned fascist now. Fascists are just scared libertarians and usually ex-middle class. Because of their irrationality (which is the reason they hate "fedoras" so much) they do not turn against capitalism but make out the jews as the scapegoat and the Babylonian Thalmud or whatever. They have this hopelessly naive / occult view of the world.

Things like social media, the acceptance of degenerate behavior, and the lack of child-discipline has royally fucked us all up.

And you know what’s funny about narcissism? One, we’re the most narcissistic society in all of human history. Two, narcissism is a mental illness that cannot be cured, one of the only ones. At best you can tame it, but we’ll have narcissistic old shitbags throughout our entire life. Consider us all doomed.

Thank you so much for this, nail on the head with giving them breadcrumbs though.

These fools are so addicted to the kool-aid that they believe that they are temporarily embarassed millionaires.

I don't know what it is but they managed to make welfare receipient and minimum wage workers to be the ones that oppose their own expansion the most.

Their goal is to create an intentional surplus of workers and continue to drive wages down, making you fight with your own fellow worker, while making you worship them for giving you an opportunity to do so.

There is nothing wrong with competition, but when the rules are so skewed and bend in the favor of one demographic it's absolutely fucked.

They will not share their wealth because that is not how it work, do people really believe that a billionaire would spend time or care about some dude from Bumfuck, USA? Trickle down economics will not work because that money will never go back to the economy, they are all playing their games, increasing their own numbers.

Funny how that seems to be a recurring theme huh?

Yea I know re: bezos, hence I forgot to include the point you just made, low taxes will only further incentivise cunts like him, however my point still stands for the middle class I think. Every time we try to fix one component, other holes inevitably pop up. Such is the struggle of civilization lo!l man if only it was easy to produce a perfect utopia.

I am happy to discuss because I freely admit I dont know the intricacies of everything, hence I made this thread to throw out some ideas. Thankyou for contributing good points, interesting to read. I hope this conversation continues with many other people contributing. I like your suggestions!

So what do you think, would be a step in the right direction, in terms of mobilizing a more appropriate balance between a society controlled by elites or a society controlled by everyone?
