Idk about the staff but the culture changed as actual wizards left and got replaced by zoomers and lots of third worlders too. I'm sure if i go on /dep i'll immediately stumble upon a thread talking about foids or not having friends when back then it would've been blasphemous to do so without any form of subtility. I like when a community sticks to it's principles, it has a charm to it.
