For me it was 8chan /r9k/ in late 2015 or early 2016, I learned about 4chan from youtube videos then 8chan from 4chan posts, and eventually found /r9k/ there. I was a lot younger than most users back then but depression had started to kick in heavy, I was bullied at school and didn't really have any friends, so I related to a lot of the sentiments there nonetheless.

8chan back then was something different, I doubt anything will ever come close. Modern 4chan r9k is dogshit and best avoided, but mid 2010s 8chan was peak. Highly blackpilled users and the standard was to be khhv neet. Think less larpy wizchan. It was in the rules too, 18+yo virgin or ban. I forget if the exact word "incel" was used, iirc stuff was more based off wizard ranking and if you were under 30 you were apprentice or mage or whatever.

Those years were probably the worst for me IRL, but I still hold a lot of nostalgia for the internet back then.

I first heard about the blackpill from Incel TV on YouTube.

I already had the same ideas, but could not really put it all together.

The Incel TV videos, described the incel situation in a way that I could understand better.

Then, I started watching Hamudi.

When I was in high school, I remember the night St Elliot chimped out, and religiously followed the subsequent Jewish media narrative and heard the term, “incel”.

November 15th 2022 on jewtube. My first ever blackpill video was made by this guy called “marshall mathers the 4th”

2018, can't remember where from

8/2025, xamvn

2022 friend told me about dbdr

/r9k/ around 2014-15 like you, it nevER began

I am not sure, but I think it was on YouTube.

don't even remember, must've been ER or something.

on a yt podcast. And in reddit

8chan /r9k/ for me too. Extremely comfy board

A retweet of the video of Oreoman, the video in the car. It was so relatable. It sucks.

I learned about the term "involuntary celibacy" after ER went on his rampage

Propably youtube or a news channel in 2022

Also i remember seeing that heed’s video very long time ago where he says ”it’s over” and something in a very serious manner and i laughed about it because it sounded funny to me.

I first heard it when my normgroid friend chimped out in a public discord server and started calling some guy an incel

just general talk honestly over the internet like in YouTube videos
