Mentalhospitalmaxxing is legit a good way to meet people as an adult, but the downside is that it only lasts a few days. I think you must first get in the friend zone then work your way up from there (the latter is impossible if you're ugly/incel, and the former is harder if you're the intimidating ogre-cel type, or an autistic-cel). Also friend zone is less selective in terms of looks or status than relationship, so most unattractive NT people can get in. For friend circles, you can do stuff like art or yoga or classes or the gym. Parties is literally the worst because people already know each other. Also, family's friends' children is a good place to start (provided you have a functional family).

As for me, I do nothing off the above as I don't find benefits in having friends (since they won't evolve into relationships due to my ugliness) and most importantly because I lack the energy and social skills to do those stuff
