Or otherwise have someone in their family who's disabled or a close friend or something

Some woman at the gym kept smiling and saying hi to me for no reason so I foolishly thought she was into me or whatever but it turns out she just fucking works with special needs probably and she can most likely tell I'm special needs at first glance

One other time there was a guy at my gym with legit hardcore down syndrome and he had a caretaker with him who stared at me and then gave me this really sympathetic smile, this literally NEVER happens mind you, literally everyone else at the gym just treats me with discomfort and disgust, they spend time just staring at me and foids there stare at me like I just fucking destroyed everything they love, so I know the attention I'm recieving is negative attention, but the only people to be decent to me are just being decent because they're familiar with disabled people

It fucking sucks, I'm genuinely making concrete plans to rope soon, people are only fucking nice to me when they work or have grew up around disabled people
