Last time a made one was middle school which was about 6 years ago. Even making friends online has become impossible because there's nothing to relate with them and also I feel as if most people view things in 1 dimension

I have never made an actual friend but I think the closest thing to that was in 2nd grade, we used to talk about TV shows and related media, nothing personal which is why I wouldn't really consider them friends but the fact that we used to do that regularly is what made it special, I lost all of them by the end of elementary though, they either transferred or abandoned me to join other friend groups.

I think making real friends depends on how popular you are among other normies or maybe you just need to be socially competent enough

Probably autism. If I try to meet new people they pick up on it easily and don't want to be around me.

Even with old friends, I was usually the second choice. Never invited to anything.

I’ve had some acquaintances and got into a few social circles over the years but I think I’ve had 2 people I could classify as friends

And even then I wasn’t really the favorite person. I always had to initiate and when their other friends were around I’d get pushed to the sidelines
