I was playing destiny 2 with an online “friend” and some other guy that was friends with him.

These niggas don’t know much about me and at some point they ask my ethnicity. I tell them ( Sri Lankan ), and this other guy starts talking with a curry accent, asking if I am Indian, bullshit like that.

Even my “friend” joins in briefly, cause when I said what he said it again with a curry accent.

I call them both retarded and fucked off. I don’t want to deal with disrespect. Wish I said more tho.

Guys sometimes it’s better to LDAR than to try to socialise with people.

If you think that this only happens to south Asians, then you are wrong.

Happened to me as well in some instances when I disclosed that I am from Germany.

There were some Russians, some Poles and some Spanish who have attacked me over it.

Most of it happened in DayZ, btw.

Even nowadays with all the censorship and word policing racism is still alive and well in online gaming.

You better get used to it, man. That's just how it is.

Ignore / block and delete and make new actual friends.
I've gone through this numerous time and it's not an issue if you don't make it one.

There are millions of people from all over the world who are playing games online.

Not all of them are like it.

I've had one Sri Lankan in my class for a year and this is in Germany. The whole class was german / white, but nobody even thought of ridiculing him over his origin, ngl.

He was no Chad, he was not tall either. He was a skinny dude but he was a cool dude.
Very sociable, very outspoken, highly NT, not the best student, but it was more than enough to pass.
He was liked by most in my class.

Meanwhile in another class I got attacked for not being born in Germany, despite actually being german. jfl

You have assholes everywhere, man and the internet is the most hardcore place.
