There was one chick in my theater group who I would chat with pretty regularly during rehearsal. Both myself and some other people thought she might have a thing for me but I asked her out and got denied. That was by far the closest I ever got to getting a date. Didn't do much in college because I was never able to get close enough with any girls to even potentially stand a chance. But after college there's been loads of girls who I was gonna try to get with but then I realized they had a BF, a husband, or already had a kid.
The only way for an unattractive dude to get dates is to socialcirclemaxx and try to get a chick to chat with you semi-regularly. But If you have no social circle that basically becomes impossible. You can only really build a social circle while you're in school. Building a social circle when you don't already have one becomes basically impossible post-college.
