The 2080 figure is very optimistic. I think population will start declining much sooner. Maybe 2040s.

There's less children being born. Birth rate crisis is being felt by all industrialized countries. Yeah sure the 3rd world still has more than 2.1 kids per woman fertility rate but they're industrializing too and getting westernized culturally faster than they can industrialize.

So even they will have low birth rates soon.
