I cannot exactly pinpoint it for my case, but I think it was a slow realization stemming or beginning from my late teen years to early twenties. Even when I started realizing that when I was unwanted, I still had a little glimmer of hope, but that totally crushed down in my early 20s (when I tried to socialize with an emo guy, but he finded me annoying. I thought he was a fellow incel, he and I can get along with, but no). I suppose I have to re-iterate that I'm not gay and had already accepted that women don't want me. I tried Tinder and bumble in 2022 and that completely failed as well...
It's definitely a soul crushing feeling (obviously), but then not being wanted by women... but then ultimately not even being wanted by anyone to include you as their friend. They just view any ugly men who they're friends with as just being a burden and something holding them back (in terms of social status)... which makes it more prone for them to leave or replace you with some better looking than you.
What's more striking is also then being denied good employment opportunities as well... even if you're working, it's just a constant feeling of people ganging up to fire you because you stick out like a sore thumb (or however this is described). Forceful marginalization or ostracization.
