IMO it was when The Last Jedi was released. I agree that The Force Awakens is bad and Rogue One is overrated fanservice but there was still some hope that Disney would learn and make better Star Wars stuff in the future. Until they released that abomination in late 2017 and it was then I realized Star Wars was dead. The only good thing in Star Wars we've had after The Last Jedi is The Mandalorian and the final season of Clone Wars, even if it was a bit lackluster at times.
