I live in my own house and have 4 other properties, all paid off. Still wage-slave albeit in self-employed contract roles, but could retire. One of my rental properties has mid-20s housemates living there, one of them is a literal chad that mogs me to oblivion. It gives me satisfaction to raise their rent every year.
