Well, if you are young enough, you could join the French Foreign Legion.
Then become a French citizen after a period of service. I think it may be 7 years, but I’m not sure.
They will give you a new identity.
Many men with criminal convictions have done this to escape their past.
But, I guess, it would also work for someone just wanting to start over for whatever reason.
But, if you just want to disappear completely, go to Alaska, USA.
Many people disappear there.
My theory is that a lot of them just walked off into the wild to live off the land.
But, you better be prepared for the cold.
