Piroctone olamine and salicylic acid both work very well but the latter dries out hair lots.

Were you using them daily? Zinc pyrithione and piroctone olamine work for me, but holy shit use something else for 2 days and it's snowing again.

Piroctone olamine is the active ingredient in Head & Shoulders and most of the similar brands too these days ^_^

If you use that daily your scalp will probably clear up
