Discussion What would you do, if you were alive in the 1930's / 1940's?

I often wonder about this. If I were alive in the 1930's or 1940's, I could unfortunately not be HVAC technician, cause back then heating systems weren't around in a large scale yet, I also wouldn't be able to focus on my side hustle cause it requires having access to the internet and networking.

Those are basically 2 things I really like and care about, but back then, no such thing as careers we have nowadays.



I like Running, so if I had the same personality and interests I would probably do that.

In other words, I would have no clue, and probably ended up as a peasant worker from the Dutch farm lands. Basically a perfect recruit for the foreign units of the German army, die in eastern europe alongside other low value peasants.

Get a job in the animation industry in the USA before the industry was cucked

Assuming I was born in the same city, just in the early 20th century, I probably would’ve been a factory or steel mill worker.

Around the time Pearl Harbor was attacked, I would have probably enlisted in the army and fought in WW2. Assuming I survived, I probably would’ve returned home and resumed my work in industry. I don’t think I would’ve been incel if I lived back then, and I probably would’ve found a wife sometime in my 20s and started a family after the war.

Depending on the country you lived, if you lived near me, you could have joined 5 Wiking. That was basically the foreign SS mainly consisting of (don't quote me on this) Dutch, Belgian, Danish etc. But I guess later in the war they allowed more to enlist they didn't care. They became more lenient out of desperation.
