Obviously decile scale would be adjusted and 8s will become 1s in the new scale. That is not what I mean though.

Basically everyone left would be more or less attractive, which might cause effects of lookism to be drastically reduced.
Until they start having kids and have abominations because of reduced genetic variance, but that is another topic.

I want to know what you guys think would happen, discuss.

if its 8- then the backbone of the world would pretty much crumble, the new children of the world would be much more attractive but what happens to all the government workers, indian janitors, stemcels etc

None of the remaining underwear models would understand how any of the technology is designed or produced, or how to operate and maintain any of the machinery, so they would go back to living in agricultural communities as the ruins of the old world slowly collapsed around them. At first they would be able to use the farming equipment lying around but eventually due to a lack of supply lines they would fall out of operation and they would have to switch to using primitive farming equipment. Many people would die due to having lived in isolated communities where they ended up completely alone after the disappearance.

Eventually things would stabilize, and the world would basically be how it was 1,000 to 2,000 years ago, people living nomadic or agricultural lifestyles. The technological progression would likely be much faster because they could recover knowledge from the ruins, but it would still take at least 400 years before the population could recover, it would be much more difficult this time because the available remaining energy resources would much more sparse compared to how they were in the past industrial revolutions. After between 400-1000 years the earth's population and technological prowess would have recovered to the state before the calamity.
