48 hours after I sent my first message and sent a friend request, she added me and read the message, and responded. I wrote back to her less than 12 hours later (was at work/school I forget), she didn't read or respond for 3 days and at that point I gave up and closed the window.

Now I see her whenever she logs onto messenger near the top of my list because her name starts with an A and is one of the people I technically talked to most recently, even though it was closer to a month ago. Just FML.

Happened a couple of weeks ago. Me and this other dude I just met got wasted at his place which is literally right below me in the basement. His cousin and her friend stop by, I was making a fool of myself as most people do when drunk. Right as I was about to leave I turned around and asked his cousin for her #, she says it wouldn't be appropriate and to ask her cousin (the dude). 

She obviously had zero interest in me and I haven't been in contact with him or her since. I'm actually positive that's the only time in 23 years that I actually asked a girl out in any way, and of course it was because I was drunk.
