For me it was when I was bullied in school severely and out of desperation bought chocolate for a hot teacher I used to have, she looked at me with confusion/hatred, make matters worse a male staff member witnessed it halfway through, never spoke to any staff the next semester voluntarily.

Eventually I realized it was hopeless. I made some posts on some early redpill forum I've long forgotten back in the early to mid 2000s about how none of this shit works if you're born ugly and the moderators tried to gaslight me, then laughed at me when I posted my profile.

Didn't learn about the black pill until I heard about ER going ER, since I had been avoiding the redpill/hookup/fitness/looks communities ever since I gave up. I was mostly just on 4chan and other image boards in the years between 2005-2014.
