I'm also getting back into the classics of Max Payne 1, and The Warriors.

I won´t rest until i beat the whole 1-10 with this mod, just using upgraded vanilla cars. ( no junkman performance )

This can be fixed, if you mod racing games or any other intense game that requires your full attention like stalker.
Call of Chernobyl with mods is one hell of a ride, got my own variation for hardcore sessions.
You can always edit mods to your preference, all you need is a notepad.

Is the STALKER series any good? I enjoyed a lot metro 1 and 2 which appear to be similar in theme.

Yep.
Start with Shadow Of Chernobyl < Call Of Pripyat < Call Of Chernobyl.
There are a lot of mods for many things.
COC 1.4.2.2 ( Call Of Chernobyl ) has a lot of potential to make it the way you want to play.
Took me 2 months and a half to get the perfect version for that game.
You´ll have to edit stuff aswell, not just what the authors intended.
It can get pretty intense in a lot of situations.
Always aim to maximize those moments.

i played a lot of sleeping dogs as a kid.the game is pretty fun.

nvm i confused sleeping dogs for reseirvoir dogs.

i did finish sleeping dogs but not as a kid.the combat is pretty decent and i felt the ending was pretty amazing at the time(i barely remember the story).i might replay it one day.
