Serious What type of low-maintenance haircut should I get

I am quite used to doing simple haircuts myself using trimmers. I usually set the length to the shortest level so I can get rid of the soft curls around the back of my neck.

I got lazy recently and just let my hair grew for like 5 months or so. If I stop showering and shaving I'd literally look like a homeless man at this point. I've been thinking maybe I should take the chance to actually get a proper haircut that isn't the buzz cut that I'm used to.

The goal is to minimize the maintenance cost, rather than looksmaxxing (which I have given up on). I'm looking for a haircut that won't look awkward or socially inappropriate if I leave it for months (that's exactly what buzz cut fails at imo). Any suggestions?
