I was already lifting weights during 14yo, while I should have waited till at least 20 ish, that in combination with martial arts and training daily severely compressed my spine, heavy stress on my joints.
I should have been way taller and looking back at it, I would have been better off picking football, track and field or something else that allows more open movement of the body.
sports I mentioned my last response are better for youth development cause they promote natural growth, upright posture, and functional strength without compressing the spine or overloading joints. They encourage elongation of the body and healthy stimulation of growth plates, would have allowed me to reach my full height potential. Lifting during puberty isolates muscles and imposes repetitive mechanical stress that can stunt growth and cause joint strain. Happened in my case IG

It's weird that with all the advancements in medicine/genetics and regenerative biology we still can’t reverse something as mechanically simple as growth plate fusion. No hormone, no therapy, no gene tweak can undo that closure. We can regrow skin, edit DNA, even print organs, but we can't convince a set of formerly active cartilage cells to reopen and resume longitudinal growth. That's why I said they probably have the files classified, maybe for military projects, maybe they want Spartan 117-like master chief types as military personnel in terms of height. They'll put them on a growth plate program, open them for X amount of time and close them when reaching desired height.
