I just left high school a little traumatic last year, basically I'm at square one, what do I do? any tips? so far I don’t miss friends or relationships, but I’m afraid of reaching 25 and regret not being anything. I can enjoy this phase now, that I can still change something

You need to find some kind of menial job - like working in McDonalds or labouring, driving or maybe something like cleaning. It will make a man out of you and leave you in a better place to figure out what you want to do going forward. Work is a very different environment than school - you will be socialised by people older than you not a bunch of toxic children from highschool.

You also need to build some confidence. You really should do something like riding a motorbike or some solo travel once you have earned a few pay cheques. Just sitting around being NEET is awful. Trust me. I was NEET for about a year when I left university. My days consisted of fucking about on the internet, playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and bumming around looking for work. As bad as working life can be sometimes nothing is as bad as being a NEET.

Realistically though you might not find a job for at least a year given what has happened with the economy. I don't envy you young guys coming on to the jobs market at the moment.

Work a trade. That way you dont have to work with ignorant foids. Technical schools are dominated by men (>90%).

Is there anything preventing you from escaping NEETdom? As in do you have anxiety, or mental issues in general? If so I would say to work on that while trying to get a job. Trust me dude if you wait it's only going to get harder, and you're going to have even less of a reason to even bother trying to improve yourself if you don't address the problem now. Exercise usually helps regardless of your problem, even if you just need more energy it's probably the best solution.

Sure you might still be incel, but at least if you're functional you'll be giving yourself more options.

Why bother though? Nothing to motivate young men today. Theres no guarantee of employment even if you do get through university or college. Theres little chance of getting an attractive 5+ gf unless your an 7+ male.

People think of hikikomori or neets as being lazy young people with personality problems who stay in their rooms all the time playing video games and surfing the net. We are told we just need to grow up. But the reality is that most hikikomori are people who can’t get back into society after straying off the path at some point. We have been forced into withdrawal. It isn’t that we're shutting ourselves away — it’s more like they’re being forced to shut ourselves away.
