"But, who would clean up the toilets and unclog the sewers?" I WOULD. A LOOOT OF PEOPLE WOULD IF YOU JUST GAVE THEM SOMETHING FAIR IN RETURN, RETARD.

BUT THESE CUCKSERVATIVES PREFER TO RISK THEIR OWN LIVES IN A PLANTATION SYSTEM THAN IDK... GIVING WORKING PEOPLE A DIGNIFIED LIFE?!

A LITERAL FUCKING JANITOR IN THE USA COULD HAVE A HOUSE, A WIFE AND THREE KIDS IN ONE SALARY!!!!! IN THE 50S.

NOW A TECH/STEM WORKER CANT EVEN BUY A FUCKING CRAMPED APARTMENT AND FIND A WIFE MATERIAL FOID, SINCE THEY PSYOPED THE ENTIRE CULTURE SO THAT ALL FOIDS BIGGEST DREAM WOULD BE TO BECOME A BILLIONAIRE'S CONCUBINE. THATS WHATS UP...

Capitalism is shit

I would not work if I didn't have too.

Communism is worse
In what regard? The soviet union went from a semi feudal society to the FUCKING SPACE in less than 40 years. The chronical hunger problem was solved in the mid 40s. SYBAU loser.

England in the 1st world war, couldnt draft 40% of its male able bodied population bcs they couldnt pass the physical exam, since they were so malnourished and underdeveloped. THE RICHEST COUNTRY OF THAT TIME COULDNT FEED ITS OWN POPULATION IN A DECENT MANNER. BUT "USSR BAD, MMMKAY..."

Wowzas, forced labor got them to space!! Lets not forget that capitalist America did it better by landing on the moon.
The soviet famine of 1946 killed 1m-1.5m people. Hunger was a an issue well into the 80s, they were also importing grain from many capitalist nations.

FACTS FOR U:
20m+ people killed under Stalin alone.
The system collapsed under its own inefficiency in 1991

Ya the first 40% point is valid I'll give you that, but its an argument against capitalism not a defense of communism lol. They also fixed this with the welfare state (NHS, public housing, food standards (without the help of gulags))

The USSR's solution to malnutrition was collectivization, which created the famines that killed millions. Britain by 1950 also had better nutrition, longer life expectancy and more personal freedom than any soviet citizen ever had, I'm all for criticizing capitalisms failures, just don't use any of that to defend communism.

I follow this communist agitative prop thing, even though i dont follow their methods and political line. I think its called the CIA.

Anyways, here's what they said about nutrition in the soviet union:

And heres some licking stickers the ussr gov would give to people when they were hungry. Top secret tech nobody has been able to recreate till this day:

Dude, i know. Stalin just did a drive by here in my hood last week, on some grannies and children, his favorite opps. Street are cold, yo... :cryfeels: :cryfeels:

If they put a heavy embargo on your rich suburbian neighborhood, in less than 1 week you would be pleading for mercy. Again, SYBAU

The US embargo covers US companies and trade. Cuba can trade freely with other countries, almost the entire world actually.

What about the billions they received in aid from Soviet/Venezuelan subsidies for like over a decade at this point? What have they put that all towards??

Vietnam and China face/faced US sanctions, both poverty reduced massively through market liberalization.

The embargo doesn't explain why Cuban doctors flee to the countries supposedly oppressing them either. 0_0

The embargo has been in place 60 years. At what point does Cuba's government take responsibility?

Exactly. Im norway, for an instance. Who do i choose to trade with? The largest economy in the entire fucking planet, or risk buying something from this small island who's one of the USA biggest adversary in the region, risking my entire economic future prospects and becoming a pariah if i even buy or sell something from/to cuba that has a hint of american technology attached to it?

Thats a tough question... you would need a lot of work to become just dishonest in your line of reasoning.

I dunno the specifics, but i would heavily guess any real embargo on china by the us, was heavily reduced since the nixon/deng xiao ping era. Vietnam produced even the nike shoes you probably had one day. Now tell me: what american complex business, industries and factories are in cuba RN? Ill wait...

The biggest responsability the cuban gov has on its own ppl would probably be not letting cuba become a new old brothel/cassino island that it was, bfre the revolution.

You're describing why external trade is difficult, however, you're not at all explaining why the Cuban government bans its own citizens from private business, owning property freely, or accessing the internet without restriction. The embargo doesn't write Cuba's internal laws.

You just argued Cuba needs US business investment to grow lol. That means you're admitting the Cuban economic model alone doesn't work, you need capitalism to fix it.

The big, powerful and mighty US of A couldnt even let the chinese have ownership of fucking TIK TOK, claiming it was "surveillance and espionage". Even they are scared of it.

Now imagine what the cuban governement suffers every day. Anything they do is bcs they HAVE to, not bcs they are "big, meanie commies who are big bad".

Also, "what will cuba do without blackrock and airbnb owning every... i mean, free private citizens owning a house or 2?" "What will the cubans do without all the american social media algorithms telling them what to do, feel and think?" Quite better, actually.

I never argued against actual, real free trade policies. They are fine, till the point they are fair and equanimous for all the parties involved in it.

Y'all think socialists are against capitalistic principles, we arent. We just think there needs to be evolution in the social relations of production attached to it.

Socialism doesnt negate capitalism, it seeks to evolve past it. And the end of history policies have been an immense faliure, BTW.

This is a national security debate, the US didn't sanction all of China over TikTok.

Do US tech policy justify Cuban citizens earning $7/month?

Nobody said Cuba needs BlackRock, nice strawman. Small business ownership, property rights, and free markets existed before BlackRock was founded, also Cuban exiles in Miami built thriving businesses without BlackRock. Same people, different system.

Till blackrock, amazon and all the other major monopolies formed. "Corporatocracy" is the natural evolution of capitalism into its latest stage.

This "small meat market and local bakery" romantic things are either completely vanquished in every part of the globe, or in its last dying legs.

In my country, theres a brewering company called AMBEV. If you have a beer business, and u start to even modically thrive, you have 2 options: sell it to AMBEV or face the consequences.

Thats real craptalism for you.
