So my country's 9th edition of Secret Story started a couple of days ago.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it is a reality competition where contestants live together under constant surveillance, trying to hide secrets, complete missions, and avoid being voted out. There is prize money involved, and public voting plays a role, so the more attention a contestant gets, the better their chances of staying relevant and possibly building some kind of career afterward. Given that, she is most likely behaving this way both to draw attention for the cameras and because women often cannot resist flirting with other men the moment their boyfriend is not around. As for why the guy is fine with it, he probably convinced himself she would not cheat on him on camera, or he is coping by treating it as a career opportunity for her.
